Industrylink’s 2018 intake of students for our Criterion III in Guiding – Marine Guide, will experience a comprehensive blended-learning course that is the most engaging delivery of experiential learning in Australia today!
Our online learning platform will enable students to work through the theoretical elements of the qualification at a pace that suits their particular life circumstances, while the face-to-face components are delivered by respected industry leaders, in the most desirable locations in Tasmania.
Participants will acquire the knowledge, hone the skills, and complete the licences needed to be a Marine Guide. As part of the program, small groups of students will complete the Tasman Island Full Day Cruise, and a unique experiential Iron Pot Tour, two of Australia’s most renowned and Nationally Awarded Marine Tour experiences.
Prior to the experiential components of the course, students will also complete their First Aid Certificate, as well as a Remote First Aid qualification and a CPR Certificate.
Participants will also complete their Elements of Shipboard Safety Certificate, and their Medium Rigid Bus Licence.
Combined with the knowledge on the fauna, flora, landscapes and indigenous culture that participants will acquire from the rich resources we provide, their educational journey will be the experience of their lifetime!
